The white house is ignoring the Saudi situation because they can. The right wing press is not holding their feet to the fire. In fact the press is doing very little to challenge the absurdities of the Bush Regime. If the fourth party of our Democracy was doing their job, the people would be storming the Bastille. The main purpose of the press established by the founding Fathers (The fourth estate) was to keep an eye on government from the peoples perspective, to protect the people from the government. they have failed miserably. The last bastion of hope is the internet, may it survive without bounds.
