My conscience tells me that the situation is improving, and under Saddam, was atrocious in so many regards.

You think America should be the world police. Who gives a fuck how conditions were under Saddam, as long as they don't affect us. Trust me, liberating the Iraqi people was not the goal in invading Iraq. There's some dictators in Africa 10x worse than Saddam ever was. Why don't we invade there next, their situation is atrocious, as well?
