Smile Supreme Court denies SD's lawsuit
Google it. Supreme Court denied a case in which San Diego officials filed a lawsuit stating that state law conflicts with federal law in the fight on medical marijuana. The Supreme Court denied hearing that lawsuit stating that it would not get involved with State law. In other words a small step for us!

Wow, I'm impressed, the Supreme Court actually appears to have read the Constitution (all States guaranteed a Republican Form of Government)

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this and the real reason why they supported it is because they are all smokers.

Either way it's a good thing...

Over 60 percent of Californians who vote, voted in favor of Prop. 215 ... and also supported SB-420. If I lived in San Diego, I'd start a door to door campaign to oust the entire city council members, the County supervisors and the Mayor. These people are acting counter to the majority wishes of the electorate and state law. Just think if 2000 people in San Diego county would get on board with this. How long would it take to get a majority of the local politicians on our side? Only one election cycle, I bet.

The problem is, the County Supervisors forced the closing of the compassion clubs and are not allowing new ones to open. This cuts the access to the herbal medicine for those in need and forces sick folks to enter into a dangerous environment by seeking out street dealers.

Agreed. It sucks to have to drive to LA to get meds. Im not in San Diego, but still in an area where there are only delivery services and I have yet to hear of a reliable service around here. I just drive to LA when I need meds.
