No doubt many black voters voted for Obama because he's "black". No doubt many women supported Hillary because of her gender. No doubt many doddering old white ex-military guys voted for McCain because he's a doddering old white ex-military guy. If an openly gay candidate surfaces, he'll probably blow away the competition amongst gay voters.


I believe racism is wrong, period. I do think Obama received many votes by uninformed voters simply because of his race. It's equally ignorant to vote for a person due to their race as it is to vote against them due to their race, there are more important issues to consider... but that would require voters to think.

Obama received kit glove treatment by the media, which is what got him elected. If the election were held today, he'd be out out out.

Obama will go down in history as the president who cowered from Capitalism..... nice reps there.

Not trying to argue racism here...it's wrong period. I do have one question though, what if Colin Powell had been the Republican candidate and the Democrat's had a white man, say Joe Biden, as the candidate...do you still think 90% of blacks would have voted Democrat or would they have supported Colin Powell?

You gotta remember, A lot of rascists voted against Obama because of his race, those same "people"/"rascists" may have voted democratic had the candidate been white. In fact, considering the way "Dubya" had put the fucks to the repuke party, just about any democrat that could string ten words together in a sentence would have won the election.
