This the most ignorant thing I've read in quite a while. Ever heard of drug resistant viruses? Viruses are mutating constantly and its only a matter of time before we see another Spanish Flu that killed over 50 million people. That was in 1918 when there was much more limited travel between continents and one fifth of the worlds population as we have now. In todays world that would mean 250 million.

Bacterium and viruses have been plaguing mankind since the beginning of time with the worst being The Black Death which wiped out over half of Europes population.
