Maybe the Navy will actually be able to prevail upon Obama that such actions were never tolerated by the United States, or any self-respecting nation. (The British and the French ironically, did tolerate the coercion that is piracy, and it wasn't until the United States stepped in under Jefferson that the Barbary Coast Pirates were put down.)

Perhaps the Navy will explain, "That those CO2 emitting illegal immigrant hating gun owners in the Gulf need to be killed."

That should be sufficiently PC to get Obama to support military action against them....

The problem is the area that needs to be patrolled looking for a craft the size of a speedboat is twice the size of Texas.

Find out which port these turkeys came from and bomb that port. Warn the inhabitants to vacate the area and cream it good. If the next port wishes to harbor these thugs, they will do so at their own peril. I don't think it will take more than 1 or 2 ports vaporizing for the powers that be over there to understand they cannot win through piracy....
