On the Fox show Red Eye, On the day that 4 Canadian bodies were being repatriated these moral right panelist's decided to ridicule the Canada population and soldiers.... Their statements were beyond any human compassion or sense of common decency...

To insult brother soldiers as they fight and die to help protect their US neighbors only goes to prove the low moral standard that the Republican party choses in their spokespersons... The Coulter's, Limbaugh's and that tripe Fox channel prove the lowest common denominator is speaking for the Republicans with their blessings...

I hope that Canada pulls their troops out, and the US wonders why they get no help from other UN forces.... To what end...scorn and ridicule from a group that claim to have a religious fiber....

Exactly. The republicans in general have no clue about world views. They are so self centered and jingoistic that anything that hasppens outside America is insignificant, after all, America rules. That type of jingoism is what the Bush white house revelled in. I hope a new age is upon us where we view world opinion as something to learn from and to become once again a part of the world community. The Bush regime has destroyed our beacon of light view held for hundreds of years previously. Maybe Obama can retrieve it. BTW, one death, no matter from what country is a sign that war is an evil scourge, I am saddened to hear our Canadian brothers are dying in this un-necessary war and for the life of me can't figure out why Obama is being led into this abyss which is Afghanistan. No country in recent history has ever defeated these Pashtun tribes men. It's hard to defeat an enemy that thinks dying is an honor and they will be rewarded in heaven, especially when their earthly existence is so pitiful. I hope Obama and company wake the fuck up about this endeavor sooner than later.

Thanks for getting it... I have some of my own friends that are there and these asses didn't mention that some of these guys are on their 4th tours in a war thats in our detriment to fight...... Its Canada thats been training the afghan soldiers along with fighting so that or US friends can take care of business seeing as your military is much more equipped.. Were ruining our own army to help and this is what we get in return for our blood......

I am stunned at the lack of any apologies from either side because they don't want the scorn of the talking heads......

Ended the war...?? didn't you see Cheney badmouthing Obama because he said he wanted to, it'll be the end of the world... Your party speaks with talking heads and bitter old men... Well, I'd chalk up the out-of-line comments to stupidity and not to conservatism. Other than what was said on Red Eye, I've not heard any disparaging remarks about the Canadian military at all ... and I know a LOT of conservatives. Also, I'm an avid reader of conservative publications and have not read even one word of criticism toward the Canadian military either. In fact, the only negative remarks I've ever heard or read regarding the military have come out of the pens and mouths of liberals.

So, bottom line ... let the stupid, insensitive remarks made on Red Eye stand as just that ... stupid and insensitive remarks.

There was a similar remark made last year saying they (Canadians) lacked professionalism... and a few years ago I saw a congressman say when asked about the water shortage that they'd take water from Canadian waterways and his quote was "What can they do about it, attack us..?" I know these are random quotes but in the entirety they show a pattern of utter disrespect...... look at Bush when he came to power he went to Mexico 1st.. not the biggest trade partner and the 2nd biggest supplier of oil, Mexico, supplier of the drugs and illegals.... and just today a border guard turned away a businessman ranting something about taking US jobs.... There will be a point where this dog won't take anymore kicking..
