That is the goal, right?
Back to business as usual, right? Quickly! ASAP! Now!...right? This isn't a political attack or a set up. I wonder if this is what purgatory is like? I don't know if I'm coming or going. I await a revolution while keeping about my daily activities. I work because I don't have a second thought my the money in my pocket will soon become worthless, while I'm stocking up on food and ammo. I'm chasing my own tail.

If Americans woke up to the way the banks, in concert with the federal government, are ripping them off with this bailout scam we'd have a revolution by morning.

To fix the markets people have to start buying stuff again.
For people to start buying stuff again, they need some jobs. In order to have jobs, we need either to bring manufacturing back to the US or find a new industry to tap into and fast. Wait until later this year when all the credit card defaulting starts happening. That's the new prediction, people are relying too heavily on their credit cards to see them through, with no dollars at the end of the rainbow. |

There is no revolution coming is there?
There is no fresh start coming, is there? To wake up debt free, I really thought it was real. To hand my son a better life then mine, I really bought into that idea. It remind me of a sad slave story. This slave master was going to die and stated in his will, upon his wifes death the slave family would be set free. When the wife finally did die yrs later and at the reading of her will, she bequeath the slave family to her young niece. This family was turned down by the courts and remained in slavery.

For some reason I can just see the Politicians using Nukes against their own Citizens. Then again, Politicians have this habit of using Suits to disguise the disgusting state of their character. Same with Lawyers, and some CEOs. No, any revolution would have to include at least 3 Million unarmed people marching into D.C., into the Hill, dragging the Politicians out of there, rolling up the Guillotine, and lopping off some heads. Then do the same with the White House, and probably the Supreme Court. Using Force wont work, and only a quick strike can accomplish the goal with out massive amounts of bloodshed.

Nay Nay!! You organize a revolution you allow it to be co-opted by demagogues (or the Fed's themselves). Just keep doing what we are doing. Grow pot, take unemployment, suck government dry. Grind up pot seeds in a pepper corn grinder then sprinkle it everywhere. Steal the toilet paper from public bathrooms, LOL. Let government provide all that stuff. Go to work but cheat your taxes just fuck with them in little ways.
The Governments overreaction will piss people off. The tax rate will get so high (70-80%) that people will be screaming!! Then it will end, the people will elect someone who promises to cut all that crap out. Either that or The people will be so pissed about the government handouts to "Bad Citizens" they will march on the capitol and do our job for us. I say the more people on the government Dole the sooner the Dole will disappear and people will have to learn they can only take care of themselves Government can't do it for you. Some people will say that being a "Bad Citizen" is wrong, Normally I would agree. However, with this government (repub.or Dem.) I say fuck it abuse the system until it collapses. This is simply non-violent protest. |

I mean, right now I'm thinking that 1. I'm going to get dinged by higher energy prices in the future (Obama's idiotic Environmental Policies) 2. The state might resort to the idiocy of raising taxes again. 3. Or the Local Municipalities might do the same. About the only people I see winning in this entire situation are the bureaucrats. The poor are getting a head fake, as is the middle class. Obama is giving us a tax break, but taking it right back with a tax hike (or what amounts to a tax hike) on energy if he can get his loony Cap & Trade program passed. Then there's the fact that if the energy company is forced to pay uneconomical rates for energy produced off grid via Solar or Wind, then they will probably hike rates again, which will probably spur more mal investment in Solar and Wind, resulting in even more rate hikes, creating an inflationary spiral in energy prices. Even if it tops out at an additional $50/month/400kwh then that's another $600 that's getting ripped out of everyone's pockets. The people that are going to get hurt the most are the poor, and middle class. There's also no telling what the Cap & Trade regulations will do. It's possible that it will result in charges of another $10 - $50 a month by itself. 300% Inflation in Energy Prices due to government regulation, would suck. It would also mean that the poor and the middle class are getting bent over by the government to a tune of $100 - $700/year in the worst case scenario, possibly more in the case of those with families. Of course, this likely means that the states and cities will raise taxes so they can help the poor pay their utility bills. So the only people that are going to get shafted are the middle class. Typical. Under Bush, The Rich got Richer, the Middle Class more or less stayed the same, and the Poor stayed Poor. Under Obama the Rich are probably going to get Richer, the Middle Class is going to get poorer, and the Poor are going to still be poor... I still can't understand why politicians still hire economists that believe in Keyne's Policies, the last 70 years seems like a pretty good case against fallacy-laden Keynesian Economics.
