I think the draft is a great Idea. It caused the Viet Nam war to stop. With a draft, college kids will be more inclined to be activists against war. If all the people have to do civic duty, there will be much more concern about wars than if only the poor fight our wars. They have to eliminate rich kid draft deferrals though. The Kids now fighting in our volunteer military are the ones for the most part that are uneducated and couldn't find jobs in their respective communities, there fore, even with a war going on, they joined for the signing bonus, (The first time any of them ever had more than a couple a hundred bucks in their pockets) and a chance to make a few bucks, get out of their boring life, and come home a hero. I doubt many thought they'd be coming home in a box.

Do you know who monsanto is >> ?? if you dont monsanto is the ones that made agent orange.. agent purple etc.. as well as pcbs that were used in cooling devices that was found to fuck up the enviroment!

From the spraying of Agent Orange During the war THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS CAME HOME SICK!!!! when it was all said and done each person exposed to it got a whopping 1,200 bucks!!

Im glad I wasnt around during Vietnam! I have a post about monsanto.. maybe you should read that and do a little research about our gov..
if you had been exposed to agent orange because your were forced into war..I doubt you would be for the draft!

Here's the deal. I am a Viet Nam Vet and I know all there is to know about Monsanto and agent orange. Fortunately, I was never exposed. My contention about the draft is just this. Everyone should have to go, not just the poor and uneducated. You better believe if all those senators sons and daughters were forced to go to Iraq, that war would have either never been started or been over long ago. In past drafts, all bigshots got deferments for their offspring, in future drafts, that should not be allowed. If it is allowed then there should not be a draft. The onus on the draftees would be to stop the frikin war and if the leaders offspring were the draftees, that onus would be a heavy hammer in stopping the madness. See where I'm going with this? As for Anything from Monsanto, after agent orange, I'm highly suspicious. I saw a program where in India they are forcing the farmers to buy these seeds and they are failing badly. They have to buy seeds every crop instead of using the ready available seeds from the crops, as those seeds are now unusable. Pretty slick sell them seeds that make crop seeds unusable so they have to buy seed every year. Many farmers are going out of business and this is contributing to world famine. There is a huge battle going on in India over these monsanto seeds.
