I am deeply offended by this statement im a veteran of iraq and afghanistan and well educated. I could have done anything i wanted. Most people who joined when i did were their because we truly believed Iraq was funding terrorist operations but soon found out it was all bullshit. I noticed the stereotype of marines being dumb was so far off base it wasnt even funny. A lot of infantry marines i served with left college to fight. You have to be a high school graduate to join any branch of the service now i bet the percentage of post high school educated military is higher than that on this website. Plus if you wanna get promoted in the military off duty education is the fastest way.

what about the prince of whales? he served in afghanistan. I also think you should have to fight in a war to have an opinion on one.

I agree thats why i got out Iraq is bullshit if you read what i wrote youd see that, but in 2001 the only thing anyone went off of was what the president said so I joined and found out a lot later their was no reason to go there in the first place.
