You're right about not being able to fight back if divided, but one does not make common cause with some one that is advocating one's own destruction. It's irrational to do so.

When the Shit hits the fan the Gangs will not be the friend of liberty. They will be like wild animals with no seance of right and wrong they will take from those to weak to defend themselves and there will not be a cop for 100 miles from where the gangs rule.

The best thing you can do is become real friendly with your neighbors and friends get to know people in your town those are gonna be the people you will need to rely on when the shit hits the fan.

You might be surprised at how smart they can be. If things get bad in the US (and they might) those guys will be a big pain in everyone's ass. But I know inmates serving life in prison I would trust more then I trust the current government. Their smarter to. But like politicians they would not have your best interest at heart.
