Angry The perfect position for both parties:
Is a third party potus.
Let's just face it, both parties run so much better when on the shorter end of the stick. Just because we admirer a person we still have to account for the worthless underlings that get appointed.

render of entitled; I will never ever never vote either party for potus a-gain.

We really need a larger selection of parties. At least 5. Right now there is really no competetion between them. Even with them being 2 parties, they can still get together to screw the rest of us.

To actually get a larger selection we would need something like instant run offs, or a system that isn't rigged in favor of the incumbents.

Or maybe for the House to have expanded like it was supposed to instead of being stuck at the arbitrary idiotically low number of 435.

I mean, even if you buy into the increasing population per Representative theory, we should only be at 200,000 per rep, and have 1,665 Representatives seated.

If you ignore that totally and go with 30,000 per Rep we should have ~10,035.

Even at 50,000 it's still 6,000.

And despite the costs (Another 2 - 6 Billion) I don't think the costs compare to the idiocy that both parties routinely pursue.

It's also more likely that each segment of the population would actually elect representatives they want instead of being forced to go with the lesser of two evils in every House Election.

Besides, at 30K - 50K per Rep it'd be possible for the Reps to campaign by actually meeting in person with people and talking to them, instead of relying on skewed bias polls.

The kind of polls that show that we "wanted the bail outs to happen."

I didn't like the third parties.

The Constitutional Party is great, but some of their positions (nationalizing foreign assets) are too extreme.

The Libertarian Party is great, but their talk of open borders is also too extreme. A nation with out borders is not a nation at all.

Now if they were to combine, and take the best positions of both parties, they'd probably kick the shit out of the GOP and the DNC.

A nation with closed borders (as it is today) is a nation of isolationism. Ron paul was going to end the war on drugs!!! He was going to get rid of the income tax!!! he was going to get rid of the payroll tax!!! He was going to get rid of all of the socialist government programs.

A nation with out borders is not a nation at all, besides, the last thing we need is free immigration between us and Mexico, and Ron Paul never said anything about opening our borders. I specifically recall him saying something about withdrawing from Iraq to use those troops to secure our borders.

As far as the War on Drugs, that'd be a good thing. The government spends too much time and money violating the right of citizens to decide what chemicals they want in their bodies.

Income Tax and Pay Roll Tax, and the IRS (don't forget the IRS, can't just leave them hanging around like a NY City School Teacher doing nothing.)

As far as the Socialist Government programs, that'd be good.

Hopefully he'll run again, and hopefully he wont be shut out of debates.

Of course the talking heads on radio and TV are talking as if the problem was with the Conservative Message, when the problem was with the fact that none of the most qualified candidates were chosen to run against Obama. It's kind of hard to choose between two out right Evils, and that was the only choice there was in this election for most Americans.

With the exception of Ross Perot, what third party candidate has ever made it into the major debates? I can't think of any. The two major parties control the debates, which means they control who debates and who does not.
