Assault weapons are already banned in Chicago and LA, and probably in a few other gang infested areas. Here in Nv, the right still has a hold on the gun laws and AK47s are still AOK for legal citizens, thank you very much. Got mine, how about you? BTW, AK47s are banned because they are selectively automatic. What everyone calls an AK is really an SK for semi-automatic. Full auto weapons are banned without a special licence and those are reserved for a select few, so I really have an SK, which is plenty good for me.

Not sure what any president could do with the mess were in now. I'm 47 and thought the 70's were tuff times for the economy but this is about banks failing, Big Corprations failing, Auto industry failing, A war in Iraq that were still having to deal with. A debt unheard of . Not sure if most calculators could add up all these numbers. And we sit here in the comfy of our homes and bitch when things aren't getting done and bitch about the way they are handling things.
