I don't care what this guy did before the video was recorded, they have the man restrained, two on one. If it were anyone but a cop doing this they would be in handcuffs by the end of the day.

These Guys are boned. I used to work for the California dept of corrections and in 10 years I never had to hit a dude in the head to get compliance. That was excessive they are boned. Its just good they were cought on tape.

i have always wondered how amusing it would be to walk up to a cop on holloween night.stuff a 12 gauge shot gun in his face..rob him cuff him hand and foot naked to a pole or something nearby his car..take all of his shit out of his car to include his shot gun and assault rifle in the trunk and a police radio...just to let em know what it is like for the shoe to be on the other foot..of course if the pig made a sudden move you would have to blow his brains out..oh well..what a shame..

Well, for every incident like the one on the tape, there are tens of thousands of arrests that are not like that at all. That's why when it happens, its all over the news ... because its rare.

I have LEOs in my family and I hear the stories of the shit they have to put up with, including threats to their lives EVERY DAY. Try living with that day in and day out without blowing a gasket.

And by the way ... if you really, truly hate cops, the next time you're in trouble call a hippy.

Leos in the family, geeze, go figure. I'm not against all cops, but I'll just say this. There was never a cop when I needed one and a few times when I didn't need one, one showed up and busted me, so I have no real need for cops. Cops show up after the crime and take a report, or try and catch the perp, but the damage is done.The three burglaries that have happened to me in my life, all I got was a copy if the police report, they never caught the guys. Yeah, I'll agree that cops mostly deal with scumbags, but they must have low IQs, as they treat everyone as if they are scumbags. Fuck cops and all that they stand for. Enforcing laws that are rediculous like the marijuana laws show they aren't intelligent at all. I believe it was Henry David Thoreau that said:
“a really free and enlightened State” that recognizes “the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all its own power and authority are derived.” It is a state that “can afford to be just to all men, and to treat the individual with respect as a neighbor,” allowing those who did not embrace it to live “aloof.”
Now not knowing how one could live "aloof" these days, the basic tenet still proves to be true. The problem is that from time immemorial, this type of of government has not been known. What a refreshing Idea though, Thanks HD.

Yes, you are right about who they deal with and what they put up with... but let's think about all the times that things like this do happen and are not video taped.

And they can't pretend that they didn't know how it was gonna be going into it.

The fact of the matter is that if you or I did this, we would be in handcuffs immediately. There hasn't even been a mention of suspension for the officer.

Police brutality....when will it end? Who saw that video of Oscar Grant getting shot in the back while he was handcuffed and lying flat on the ground.....That video made me sick to my stomach.
