My question is this, how do I become a permanent citizen? My long term goal is Nova Scotia. I'm picking up French once my Rosetta Stone gets here. I already know some spanish. Theyre pretty close. I'm in school for EST training (Electronic Service Tech.). I have no family or connections outside of states. I did, however, take a self assesment test used for immigration of skilled/professional laborers for NS and failed. I needed 17 more points to pass, easily doable once I learn French and get my degree. This test was the quickest way into NS, so it's ok if I didnt pass now, but I am clueless to all this stuff, and I need someone who has done it to show me the way so to speak.

Ever since I started growing pot, I've wanted to flee my country in fear of prosecution for my beliefs, amongst other things ie lower crime rate; fewer people per square mile...list goes on.

Here's some facts about where I live.
Population density-975 people per square mile. (high)
Theres like NO jobs unless youre a minority without a felony or have some college (which im working on).
My area caters to the spanish...dont call me racist, it's so true...
Cost of living here is about 95/100. 100 being the national average.
Hispanic-15%. I like their culture, but thats just waay too many people to compete for the labor jobs I have skills in.

Theres nothin like applying at a temp service (where Im the minority) and listen to everyones jail stories in the waiting room. And guess who walks out with jobs? I hate this freaking place...please help me get out...
