ok just ranting a lil here i guess. i love obama voted for him and i agree with him that we as a people need to make the change, and that he's not a mircle worker thats gonna fix everthing. but he is proposing a 800+billion dollar american recovery and reinvestment plan on individual tax cuts, business tax cuts,infrastucture spending,green speanding and aid to states. 800+ billion dollars thats alot of money to spend and for the american tax payers to pay back in the future. when will the fedral government realize that legalizingmarajuana and regulating it and taxing it would be a valuble investment in it's self from personal use and medical use and the hemp industury and hey etholnoyl i just get so angry when our country has such a natural resource that could grow and thrive all along the unitedstates and they won't take use of such a resource are they fucking stupid? 800+ billion dollars that more then the last 4 presidents commited to any of those fedral programs... and the bailout OMG did the carriage makers get a bailout when cars came out and there businesses toppled? let the car company's falter they've been igging there grave and there are hundreds of privatly owned companys that would gladly make use of the fedral assistance for green company's to make green products that could and would take care of the job problem. what happens when the bailout money runs out? i think this is very short term thinking. anyone have an opposing veiw or thought fell free to tell me off this is just my 2 cents

is it such short term thinking or is it the bureaucracy's natural quest to expand itself in both numbers and power? for every dollar handed out by government there are new positions generated to oversee those funds, for each new position there is a certain amount of power generated for those bureaucrats that oversee those positions. as the bureaucracy grows, the source of its power is further and further removed from the oversight of the people that bureaucracy is supposed to be working for. for decades we have been allowing the building a machine that is destined only to enslave us.

Well.. for the last bailout which was what? 750 billion on paper Bloomberg reported in the beginning of Dec that they ACTUALLY spent 8.5 TRILLION.. any guess as to how much they will actually spend this time around if they're just TELLING us 800 billion? LOL.. Add in to the fact that all the economists are admitting that Obama's "recovery plan" won't actually do anything for the economy right now, and that the money and effects MAY trickle down and help in a few YEARS. LOL.

We are so fucked I can't do anything but laugh at this point.. our economic collapse is insured.. And when it does happen, I fear the mass of sheeple will just beg the government to come in and fix it and take care of everything. Gosh, we are so fucked...LOL

we are fucked only so long as we depend on the animals in government to ruin our lives and our country for their own enrichment. we cease to be their victims once we take back the power they have stolen from us. i'm not even sure we can rightly call it theft, we have blithely handed over control of our lives for the illusion of safety and a bit of comfort. those who want to take charge of their own destiny are a dwindling minority and will, most likely, soon be obliterated by the unthinking mob.

we might be in a no win situation. even those who are willing to embrace personal responsibility are divided by their varying instincts to charity and desire to see all men raised up from a mundane existence. we seem to be trapped by the fantasy that all people are capable of success if they are only given the means.

And that's the idea MILF. Create the crisis, a crisis caused by the government, then scare the people so badly that they beg for the government to step in and fix the problem. Get ready for another trillion dollar shafting.

The only way to really "fix" the economy, would be for the federal government to step away from the problem and let the free market have it's head.

For starters, a truly patriotic administration and congress would slash the corporate tax rate to 15%, abolish the "death" tax, abolish the income tax and replace it with a simple sales tax. Needless to say, the capital gains tax would be abolished as well. After all of that, congress can declare an new war ... a war on government waste and corruption.

But none of this will happen because there are 535 people standing in the way. Their power and influence would be damaged to a great extent.

The trouble is and always has been: "meet the new boss, same as the old boss". It really doesn't matter which party. One is more for business and the other is more for the people, both are evil. I choose the one more for the people because I don't own a business. That's how it works. There are COUNTLESS cases of PROVEN voter fraud from all our recent elections that honestly, I don't believe the election results come from our real votes. I think it's just about THEM picking a winner then convincing the public through the media that the winner won because the people chose them. When the media does their job well enough, much convincing isn't even needed, like this time around, they didn't even need to steal the elections- the media got the people so riled up behind Obama. Reguardless though, there was plenty of voter fraud this past election proven- though most of it was for Congress positions and state issues this time.

We have a two party dictatorship. Period.
