Due to a central bank owned by bankers, media owned by a few global concerns, and trade regime controlled by global corporations (i.e., one designed to remove the people from control over their markets and environments) the vast majority have become little more than latter-day serfs and neo-slaves upon a corporate latifundia.

The cure for what ails this country

Med, the United States was never meant to be a Democracy, no matter what the Marxist morons that you listen to claim.

The United States was meant to be a Republic, with minimal laws and regulations mainly focused on ensuring our economic competitiveness and bolstering our industries through the use of tariffs and excise duties.

It was meant to look after the common defense and general welfare of the Union as a whole, not the piddly concerns of a few private individuals.

Though in truth the Republic fell a long time ago. Like around the time of Woodrow Wilson when the private concerns of self-centered greedy socialists and feel-good, bleeding-heart liberals lead to the creation of the Income Tax. When the gross stupidity of Congress and the President enraptured by the sweet terms that the bankers called them while kissing their asses like sycophants lead to the creation of the Federal Reserve, and the abdication of responsibility for our money supply to it.

The Republic has the final nail hammered into its coffin (at least it got that much) when that SOCIALIST MORON FDR decided that he needed to use a Fiat Currency to get the economy working. Stabbing the entire nation in the back when he turned around and devalued that currency by 40% immediately after forcing everyone to use it.

Then there was the creation of big government, and all its programs made for people that were too incapable of looking after themselves, and too afraid to have to start over again.

The grave was dug under Johnson and the idiotic ideas of his "Great Socialist Society" and this latest "Crisis" is just going to be the excuse for those power-mongering ass-wipes called politicians to lower the coffin into the ground, and bury it, because they are afraid that if they leave it unburried the vision and ideals that the Republic stood for will come back to life and throw them into the grave instead.
