U.S. attorney: Governor tried to sell Senate seat

FBI agents today arrested Democratic Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich on federal corruption charges related to the selection of President-elect Barack Obama's Senate successor. U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said Blagojevich tried to sell the Senate seat in exchange for perks for himself and his wife.

i know what he did is not right, but im pretty sure he wasnt the only one to do it...i think they targeted him cause he was on national tv trying to look like a savior to the protesting workers there...kinda funny how the feds nailed him the day after he was running his mouth...maybe if he would have just laid low, called out the national guard to get all the protesters hosed, he would still be able to enjoy a piece of the cash cow he was given by the people...

what you should really be asking is obama related, after all it was his seat, and he won back in 2004 in the same manner sorta to....all im saying, sketchy stuff from chicago.....fuck em all though

also, this isnt an every day thing, with all the watch dog groups out there youd expect more to show up if this was a huge running problem

he was a crooked mother fucker, end of story, it had nothing to do with protesting workers or gay-ass unions

That is a little misleading. Illinois doesn't play the post 10% of your bond - they just give one number. In any other state it would have been a $45,000 bond.

The guy isn't a flight risk. He isn't that smart.
