The United States currently imports most of its marijuana from Canada and Mexico (at least in border states). We need to put an end to this outsourcing! Thousands of American jobs are being taken by Canadians and Mexicans, who have less resistance from the law in their countries. We need to start producing our weed right here where it's consumed, in the United States! By growing our weed here, we can cut off the money supply to crime-ridden Mexican drug cartels and increase the business of hydroponics stores, nurseries, hardware stores, 24-hour convenience stores, head shops, and snack food manufacturers. So the next time you get your weed, check and see where it's from. If it looks like it used to be part of a brick, or the guy who sold it pronounces 'about' like 'aboat', look somewhere else for weed that was proudly grown right here in the USA! Then we can do our part to jump-start the new green economy!

I dont think thats the case so much anymore,i gotta believe as wide open as cali is on the weed front with as many massive scale grows ive seen from cali a mess of weed has to be comming from there.

However i do know where your comming from,ive thought about it often,more from a standpoint of helping my friends & family get away from buying weed,since ive been growing again after taking a 20 plus year break ive dedicated half of each harvest to give to friends & family in hopes they'd see the benifits of growing their own supply & it's working well.

Since then ive helped build 4 grow rooms for my friends & brother,supplied the clones to them & i mentor them to make sure all goes well,two of my friends have also set up grow rooms for their family members using my clones,were doing our best here in Michigan to get back to where we were at in 1970 where everybody grew their own weed.

Ive came way out of the closet since we passed the Medical Marijuana bill here in Michigan,last week i was at home depot getting plumbing & electrical supplies for my brothers new grow room & the plumbing guy at home depot made a comment about the supply's we were getting being an odd assortment for a DIY project,i blew his mind when i told him it was for 2 grow rooms for raising marijuana.

It just takes putting the paranoia to rest & letting people know your willing to teach them.

The post was only half-serious anyway, I was kind of stoned and reading an article about "green jobs". But it's true, buying homegrown weed is good for the economy.
