I have to agree with Zen on this one. There are no references in the article showing where he got his information from, and for all things online, references are what makes something notable. If he/she/it expects to be believed one would imagine that he/she/it would have provided a link to back up their opinions.

Besides, why shouldn't Christmas be de-commercialized? The entire thought of hearing stations rant on and on about Christmas, and to be subjected to stores advertising Christmas goods really creates a drag on the holiday, because it illustrates that there are some people that are so base that they are not above converting a holiday into something for their own ends.

Kind of like the way Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day and all the other "Days" are being created. Phony Holidays with no true cultural significance. Sham celebrations. At least the Ancient Romans and Ancient Greeks had some kind of reason for their public festivals, other than "Just because."

i thought christmas had a definition? who undefined it? are homosexuals really that crazy? it's the birthday of jesus. it always has been and always will be. hence CHRISTmas. yes it's for christans.. are people seriously insane now?

ya cause so many mammals in nature are gay.. i mean that's how they survive and procreate.. laff.. people are really that crazy now huh?

they can go ahead and give examples of dogs screwing dogs for dominance, but they don't love eachother and aren't lookin to mate, they are strickly showin dominance.

if homosexuals seriously think it's natural, then they seriously have mental disorders. that's all there is to it, there is nothing wrong with being mentally handicapped, but it is a fact that they are. they may not be handicapped the way you know handicap, but they are, wether they have mutated genes or bad genes, bad seeds to exist. it is a fact. some seeds do not grow right no matter what. that is life.
genetic - if they are born a male, with female genes that attract them to males, then there is something wrong with their genes. it's that simple.
social - if they were taught to be homosexual, then they were taught messed up and you can blame their parents.

there is no one example that any homosexual person can give where 2 same sex mammals stick together as 'husband and wife' it doesn't happen. they need to stop liberally interpretting every thing in the world. words were made for reasons, to explain and give names to particular things, not to be thrown around in the loosest context you can.

they can call it civil union, they can do whatever they want. but you dont redefine anything, marriage was defined (not in their favor) so they can just stop bitching now.

and explaining love sex and marriage to your kids, well honey, when a man and a man or a woman and a woman love eachother, sometimes they adopt children that some woman didn't want, yes she didn't want her baby, probably because she is a whore who got drunk and pregnant and didn't want to take responsibilty for her actions. And other times (rarely) a man and a woman fall in love, they get married and make babies through love making.

it's all stupid. people have lost it. completely. call me what you want, but we have lost all moral, pride and honor that we've had in society. we throw facts out the windows for feelings.. we are completely lost.

Many, many, species of animals show homosexual behavior, some 450 vertebrates directly observed in the wild. And since when has procreation been a requirement of marriage?


Natural or not, genetic or not, it doesn't make them inhuman. As humans, citizens of the U.S., they are entitled to all the rights the rest of us are.

Who says what marriage is and by whom it is to be defined? The married? The marriable? Isn't that kind of like allowing a banker to decide who is going to own the money stored in his vaults? It seems to me that justice demands that if the straight community cannot show a compelling reason to deny the institution of marriage to gay people, it shouldn't be denied. And such simple, nebulous declarations, with no real moral argument behind them, are hardly compelling reasons. They're really more like an expression of prejudice than any kind of a real argument. The concept of not denying people their rights unless you can show a compelling reason to deny them is the very basis of the American ideal of human rights.



So.. people that get drunk and pregnant and don't take responsibility for their actions are allow to get married.. but gays who want to take responsibility for a child shouldn't..

That's an interesting one, in light of who society does allow to get married and bring children into their marriage. Check it out: murderers, convicted felons of all sorts, even known child molesters are all allowed to freely marry and procreate, and do so every day, with hardly a second thought, much less a protest, by these same critics. So if children are truly the priority here, why is this allowed? The fact is that many gay couples raise children, adopted and occasionally their own from failed attempts at heterosexual relationships. Lots and lots of scientific studies have shown that the outcomes of the children raised in the homes of gay and lesbian couples are just as good as those of straight couples. The differences have been shown again and again to be insignificant. Psychologists tell us that what makes the difference is the love and commitment of the parents, not their gender. The studies are very clear about that. And gay people are as capable of loving children as fully as anyone else.

You dodn't even read the story did you?.... I don't care one way or another on the gay sex thing because it doesn't effect me. If they are allowed to marry, great, if not sorry for your luck but it's not really my problem. You on the other hand are a waste of brain matter. At least read the story that is the topic of conversation. I read the story, and can only remember one sentence with reference to marriage...
