Default Who counts the votes, indeed...
Kenton County Problem with Electronic Voting Machine - :: Cincinnati news story :: LOCAL 12 WKRC-TV in Cincinnati
Quote:
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A northern Kentucky county has shut down more than 100 electronic voting machines after the equipment malfunctioned.

Kenton County Clerk Rodney Eldridge says the 108 eSlate machines in that county were taken out of service Tuesday morning. The machines weren't lighting up when someone voted a straight-party ticket of all Democrats or Republicans. Eldridge said the problem arose just after 9 a.m.

Secretary of State spokesman Les Fugate says the Kenton County Board of Elections made the decision to remove the machines, but other voting machines are still available. Fugate says voters needing assistance will receive it at the polling place.

Local 12 reporter Jeff Hirsh says the shutdown of the machines may create longer lines later in the day, particularly at Holmes High School in Covington.

The Republican Party of Kentucky is issuing a warning to all voters about the machines. For anyone voting straight ticket on an eSlate machine, the warning says you need to scroll through and make sure all Republican candidates are selected. The state party has received reports from voters who selected the “straight ticket” that some of their votes for candidates may not have been counted.

The Republicans want voters experiencing problems while voting at their precincts to call the Louisville Victory Office at (502) 498-5191 and ask to speak with an attorney.
And here I was thinking that it was impossible for the voting machines to be flawed in such a way as to favor Democrats.

Compared to Obama he is the lesser of two evils, though ideally, I'd rather have had the chance to vote for Ron Paul, or Barr, or the Constitution Party.

Obama just doesn't seem to have the kind of knowledge of what the United States is about.

How any one can vote for some one that states that the Constitution was flawed because it didn't provide for wealth redistribution is beyond me.

Yes, the Constitution contains mistakes, (too much power in the hands of the Federal Government) but the lack of a mention of wealth redistribution is not a mistake.

"Already"? They've been doing that for weeks. What do you think the whole ACORN thing was about? According to McCain, ACORN was "on the verge of maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy."

Uh, right... I guess "maybe" is the operative word here.

It's hard to be as experienced as an ancient American artifact. Of course, I understand the "lesser of two evils" position you're in...

I'm just happy we can still say "may the best man win" because Hillary is a joke.
