Registered Libertarian Party in 2000. That was my first and last party affiliation. I haven't renewed, so don't know if that expired.

I smoke weed every day.

I voted for Bush Jr. (second time around). First Presidential for me. I wouldn't change a thing.

I hate democrats for being whiney and republicans for being control freaks. Fuck em both.

I agree with what you said about people being lazy but its a bipartisan issue.

Or perhaps that this can be shown to be an example that Democrats create problems and then continuously pretend to have a "solution" to the problem that they created in the first place.

id have to say I do... let me put it this way....I hate republicans and dems......I hate politics period.... both are nothing more than power hungry pricks in my book.... who live off of tax payers in luxury....makes me sick really....

Also the reason why I'm not voting for McCain or Obama. The idea is to secure more freedoms, not to surrender more freedoms.

I read Dr. Lester Greenspoon's book on marijuana back in the early 60s and have been for legalization ever since. If you do a Google search on Dr. Greenspoon, you'll find some valuable information.

On the Republican vs Democrat debate: I find most Democrats to be misled by their desire for "compassion" and a more "level" playing field. Most are fair minded people who want the best for society ... but they just haven't thought things through. For example, most of them have never given a thought about where government gets the money or how its taken. Then, there is the hard-left type of Democrat who knows full well where the government gets the money and how its taken. These are the looters and/or the successful who feel guilty about their monetary success.

The Republicans I know are achievers who want to clear the playing field of government obstacles so that others may have a clear path to achievement as well. I realize that there are folks who try to rig the system ... but that's not the exclusive territory of just Republicans. The Republicans I know are free market thinkers who want to be left alone to grow to their maximum potential. Unfortunately, in recent years, the Republican Party has gotten away from their roots of free markets, low taxes, limited governmental spending, and the promotion of liberty.

As a Member of the Libertarian Party for the past 25 years, there are very few Republicans and no Democrats that I've voted for over those years. This time, I'm voting for McCain/Palin because the thought of a Marxist like O'Bama being president, with a filibuster-proof senate is really frightening to me. Also, there will be two, maybe even three Supreme Court nominations coming up over the next four years, and I want strict constitutionalists sitting on the bench. As a Libertarian and a businessman, I believe in personal responsibility and private charity. I also believe in a VERY limited central (federal) government, states rights ... and the more local the government, the better.
