Just got a call from the owner of the company. She's invited Seamaiden and I to a Republican political event/cocktail party in Sacramento on Thursday evening. It's a formal event and I don't know the specifics yet. Could get...umm....interesting to say the least.

Yeah, especially if you say something about John McCain being a commie, actually if they are Republicans they probably already know that, and wish that McCain wasn't on the ticket.

Yes he is, and if any of the Repubs ask me who I support as POTUS I'll tell them. I'll also explain that I can't support a candidate that has voted to increase the deficit to 11 trillion dollars as it goes against one of the fundamental tenets of what was once the Republican Party that I knew and loved. I also can't support a candidate that voted for the bailout...this little thing called the Constitution and all, ya know?

Seamaiden and will most likely quiz these folks about their stances on constitutional issues. Who knows...it just might be fun.
