It's sad to have to sit back and watch this country go down in flames, but there isn't much else we can do. Let it implode and then bring back the guillotine, chop some heads off and start over.

Well, considering the progression of world communications, TV, the internet etc, what did you think was going to happen. This is a small planet and it's for sure there will be a one world government some day. Let's hope it is a civilized one. I don't like the Army being in the streets of the USA, what happened to Posse-comitatus:
The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 16, 1878 after the end of Reconstruction. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (the Army, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) in the former Confederate states.

Why do you think they are probably being called "National Guard" Units?

No, I think Iraq wasn't about Iraq, if anything...

Now, I'm not one to usually engage in conspiracy theories ...

but what if it was a way to sharpen the edges on the National Guard units, and all the BS being published against them was a way to turn them against the American People, to make them willing to shoot civilians?
