I have a question about Ron Paul's tax idea. I know he want's to ban the IRS (great idea) and just have a flat tax on sales. Would that also include bannishing social security tax, medicare tax and state income tax too? Oh yeah, where would we stand on property tax?

We get these social security statements sometimes in the mail and I keep them. I was looking at them the other day and between my husband and I we've paid over $40,000 to social security so far in our lifetime.

Now I am aware that there is a better chance of a UFO landing in my backyard than me ever seeing that SSI money again. I'm sick of paying it. Actually I don't pay it they jack me for it.

I really feel so fed up with the way things are that I could actually puke.

I heard it might be the top 15% I think from facts.org or something, thats why i gave the 10% figure, right inbetween either way at least 85% of americans will get a tax break

Obama said 95% of American's will NOT see an increase, now it is 85%? NO NEW TAXES they can't manage what we give them now, and if they did it would be MORE THAN ENOUGH.

It's true greed got us here with the mortgage mess and government greed has gotten us taxed into a system that is corrupt, unfair and almost unimaginable. We need to get rid of taxes based on earnings for citizens and only tax income on Corp and Business income and make it flat no deductions straight here is your income subtract your expenses (limit these to no more than x% of revenue) and you take a % for taxes the rest is profit.

Salary caps for CEO's and corporate officers. There is no reason that the employees are being paid minimum wage while the ceo's are taking home millions in salary with millions in bonuses on top of that. Otherwise they'll just chop workers pay to keep their own.

I honestly can not even imagine why any person would require even a million a year as a salary, let alone over a million.


Beware of politicians saying "no new taxes" they say that and then they end up jacking the current taxes way up. "no new taxes" is a wolf in sheeps clothing.
