Default McCain Seeks to Delay Debates
Obama says debate should go ahead - Yahoo! News

McCain is seeking to delay the debates so he and Obama can focus on the countries economic problems. I find this odd for two reasons.

A. These two have no influence on the economy, yet.
B. McCain has vocally said the economy is fine.

So.. what other reasons could he have...hmmmmmmmmmmm

To actually concentrate on doing the job that he was elected to by the fine voters of the State of Arizona instead of running around the country attempting to get another job, that neither him nor Obama actually deserve.

Then he should drop out of the race. Presidents debate. It's been a tradition for awhile now, Senator positions or not. Not to mention this has been planned for months. It's not like he's saying no to a suggested debate. He's trying to drop out at the last minute.

Neither McCain or O'Bama are presidents ... they are senators who are needed at this particular time to help construct, or deconstruct this bailout package. According to the "experts," this is the greatest financial crisis to hit the country since 1929 when the Great Depression hit.

Actually, when you think about it, this is a good opportunity for both Democrats and Republicans to see what their man is made of, and in what direction they would lead the country. Are they in bed with the main players on Wall Street ... or are they truly supporting the people like they say?

This just in: O'bama says the debates will go on as scheduled. I guess he'll be debating with himself.

well, see now this is weird. Just last night you were debating me that we aren't currently in a recession. Now According to the "experts," this is the greatest financial crisis to hit the country since 1929 when the Great Depression hit.? So, now that McCain needs a bailout, you've changed your mind? Do you actually have an opinion of your own?

Are you honestly suggesting that our economy can't be fixed if McCain and Obama aren't around for a few hours?

As ViRedd said Obama and McCain are US senators. They need to do their present jobs and take care of the issue with the economy. We are not in a recession and the economy is basicly strong just like McCain said. A lot of people are still doing just fine, but the trillion dollar bailout needs some oversight. A lot of people made a lot of money on the housing mess that caused all this crap and too many are still making dough! And I think the bailout is bullshit! If you got your own ass in a financial mess, do you think the government would bail you out. Hell No! So why should the Big shots get bailed out. Its Bullshit! And crying about the re-scheduled debate is bullshit too!

Kudos for that post, BK. You're right on.

So you support McCain... although you disagree with his economic stance. You also support him missing the debates to fix the economy although you think there is nothing wrong with it?

Inneed, I actually expect my president to stand up and do what needs to be done, not talk an issue to death. And that is what McCain is doing. He is actually addressing the issue, because it needs to be addressed instead of whining about how he was supposed to debate.

Of course, the reason why Obama is whining is probably because he has no idea what he should do. Actions speak louder than words, and Obama's words show that he is unfit to even be a dog catcher.

Indecisive, with out Bearing, and sadly lacking in Integrity, Knowledge and Initiative.
