No surprise there, GR. marijuana arrests have been going up right along. Clinton set new records too. This is big business for the government agencies that benefit from the drug war, and like all government programs, they grow in order to justify an even larger budget for the following year.

If you remember, that was the basis behind the ATF attack in Waco. It was nothing more than a publicity stunt by a failing agency in order to justify the budget they had submitted to the Justice Department. I mean, they had TV crews all set up in advance ready to film what they thought was going to be a slam-dunk. They grossly underestimated the free spirit of Texans.

You can bet that whom ever is the next president, we'll have another record year in drug arrests. Its just the nature of government bureaucrats. They can't help themselves. ~lol~
