Default Canadian Elections comming soon.....
So with the upcoming elections in Canada I was wondering how peole are going to vote

I personally am Liberal however according to the opinion polls the conservatives are out in front but losing support as the election draws near

Polls taken off official Elections Canada website

My reason for voting liberal is the simple fact that they have the best chance of decriminalization, and I don't like Stephen Harper's views on the justice system, I would vote NDP as Mr. Layton has publicly stated that he would move for a full legalization however I doubt that the NDP would win and I don't believe in throwing my vote away

http://www.nodice.ca/elections/canada/ is the poll results as they messed up the chart on post

Then they would get a few extra seats but I doubt that in their current state the NDP would win I really dont think their party is strong enough to gain office let alone hold it once they get it

That is the truth, but you never know if the liberals get back in, they may make legal, you just never know.

Looking at their history it was them who in 2003 I think it was put forward a decriminalization bill, and it would have passed except for the STRONG resistance met from the USA

And we all know exactly where Mr. Harper stands on this subject

This election year could give us a once in a life time chance or at least a once in a very long time chance of either decriminalization or full legalization I have said it a few times but I will once again explain quickly why

If Obama wins the US elections and the Liberals win the Canadian elections I could not see much resistance being put up Obama would move most likely first for a full decim and Canada as the USA cheerleaders would follow suit very shortly not to mention with neither side putting political preasure on the other the bills would pass for sure

What I get sick of is how the U.S.A. basically dictates to us on our polices. That bugs me. We should be able to do what ever we want here, it is our country not theirs.
Sorry for the rant there, I must need another bowl or 3, lol.

No even if I smoke an LBS I would still bitch about how the USA trys to police the entire fucking world it is seriously getting old. Not to mention I don't know why Canada bows to them we already know how a war would turn out (reference to 1912) Not to mention the US has their military spread so thin that if anything were to happen they would be screwed and they would rely wholy on Canada and other common wealth contrys to protect their sorry asses however they are only the super power for now every super power falls for one reason or another it has happened though out history and we all know that history repeats itself over and over
