i gotta say though, the world is crazy now days. people are bold and brave, sometimes for very wrong reasons. anything could happen.

Yes but remember 'they' also predicted total melt down for Y2K, and after WW2 talk of nuclear holocaust and wars with Russia were all the rage. Maybe they are scare tactics to get people so panicked that they allow laws to be passed that while preventing these things strip our freedoms away incrementally and while the public is not looking, kinda like the old slight of hand trick...

All low-flush toilets will melt.

Isn't misinformation just as important to the CIA and info agencies? What if 'they' are just stooges of these agencies? or maybe they were set up in such a way that all this info was given to 'them' to distribute to the public by the 'Agency' or one of their stooges.

you're right though, about the fear mongering. happens in the MSM and with the conspiracy theorists. the conspiracy theorists use it to wake people up, and the MSM uses it to scare everyone into submission. frightened people will do anything for safety and comfort.
