The selection of Sarah Palin sent a message to freedom-loving, conservative Americans, and his acceptance speech showed that he is for change, too. I understand it was only a speech about change, but if only talking about change disqualifies the candidate, then it applies to the Chosen One, too.

Let's see, The Palin Baby is autistic, this would lead me to believe that she had it herself. Autistic Birth of children go up dramatically when the mother is over the age of 30. Since this baby was born to a mother in her 40s it would make sense that Sarah Palin had it.
This is not to say that her daughter couldn't have had the baby, but since autism is in the picture, it would make more sense that Palin had the child.

In the sceme of things, this is a distraction and is not really important.
