Anyone elese see the light show last night? I got up to pee, decided to to go outside and find a tree.
They were pretty spectacular at 1 am.

Missed it here, but sounds like it was visible to a good swath (crappy weather notwithstanding for some). Still marvelling that you dropped trow at 1am for a whizz outside. Bravo!

I will gladly drive across this structure to get to the Peninsula Lakes Golf Club. And like the older and much wiser version of Mr. Chiz, I am not in any hurry to scale it.

We did - peak was between 12:30 AM - 1:00 AM. A very light cloud cover muted the show a touch - but we could see the light green coloured streaks pointing to the heavens.

Looks like the Stillwater lift bridge which I have never traversed since it goes to....Wisconsin!

This one goes to my favorite liquor store in NH.
They replaced the 1921 bridge, gave it some nice lighting, and nautical chains for counterbalance.
People from away were freaking out at the colors changing, thought it was lifting, other thought the bridge looked gay, so that ended.

X-mother in law was the city manager there

Saw Pat Benatar at the casino there. We were on the front row and I was kind of playing bouncer keeping this hammered woman from getting in front of us in the aisle. Pat saw and sang to me holding her hand out, I melted.

I spent most of my time in Chico for obvious reasons, ahh college women... I was helping my dad build his house above Paradise at the time.
