Original Skunk weed from 1985 Texas

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

Hi all, been hunting a true skunk for so long anyone found anything close to it? I'm not talking about the sweet one i want the foul stench skunk, so so hard to find have any of u come across this please comment, or is it best to just start back with the landrace Afghan?

It had huge seeds 4xs the size nowdays and the were covered with big veins. Very recognizable. I clearly remember finding a few seeds and saving them and growing them in Athens, Texas in my grandparents back yard. They got about a foot tall and were killed by a lawnmower. I remember they had the widest leaf blades I have ever seen and fat stalks that were wedged like heirloom tomatoes. Our guess was it was from Afghanistan or Pakistan carried by returning GIs on cargo planes. The whole crew must have been in on it. There was so much of this stuff it flooded the state. All weed was $15-20 a quarter with panama red going for $20 an oz. The Skunk was $35 a quarter. You could smell it a long way aways. Even the small plants I had stunk. I have looked at many afghani strains like Kandahar black but not seeing what I remember. I am looking at fb afghan pakistan seeds and they look promising. any input would be appreciated

Seems to me since it was texas , mexican would be the likely candidate for where it came from. To me thats more probable than afghani

I am sure someone has this and doesnt know there a demand for it. This Skunk was not compacted like most other weed of the day. It appeared lightly packed but still fluffy. It was slightly seeded also. The huge green brown and tan large veined seeds I clearly remember. Also this weed came to a pretty fast ending probably b/c the gang LOL bringing it in broke up. I dont remember seeing it in the late 1980s and after. Did some research on Afghanistan and they had the russians there until 1989 and the Drug lords growing weed were safe but after they left the Taliban took over and the buyers were afraid to return and didnt go back? The weed from then on was probably all used to make hashish bound for the European markets.
