Genesis 1:6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

awesome, i was just right outside of the path of totality, even though it was cloudy where i was, i still got to see a smiley face of it.....and when people says it goes dark, it does that and more.....if you get a chance go see it, it's defintely worth it.....
I drove with my mom to Nebraska to get in the path of a total eclipse in 2017. A truly incredible experience. We were up on a little hill and to my surprise I was able to see the horizon of the totality racing towards us across the land at incredible speed and then away as the eclipse passed.

Mind blowing stuff!

NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center has issued a Geomagnetic Storm Warning until 8pm EDT tonight. The current forecast is for a G3 (strong) storm...but what does that mean for you? Maybe the biggest impact to those of us on the ground, is the potential to see the Aurora Borealis as far south as the yellow line on this map! spaceweather.gov for updates.

I'm a Trekkie from allllll the way back when.

I used to race home from elementary school on my bicycle (Scotty's voice:"I'm giving all she's got, Captain!") to watch the daily reruns at 4pm. It was the highlight of my day!

I was nuts for the original series too but could never get into any of the newer ones or the movies. The more movies get into CGI and computer generated crap that is so obviously impossible the less interested I become. I loved super hero comic books but the movies now. Meh.

Stuff like the car chase in Bullit with real drivers and cars is more to my liking.
