your compost contains many organisms, and you should make a compost tea to water your recently mixed soil with just to increase microbe populations and really get it rocking quickly. they'll be ready. your base should be aeration, compost/ewc, and peat or coco or a mix of the two. The microbes will get to work on the amendments you put into the soil. they will be ready for the plant when the mix is done :)

How long after watering would it be ready to plant in ?

Add an equal part shredded coir. Nothing beats a AACT for adding life, but you will have plenty to start.

3-4 weeks. make sure to turn your soil a few times in the first two weeks or so, mix it up good. after that it will be ok to let it sit. and don't get it too wet while its sitting, just enough moisture that if you squeeze a clump of soil in your hand, it will hold itself together, and it crumbles apart easily from that clump. pre wet your peat or coco whatever you're using before you mix everything together.
