plant rotation?

i have a 24 plant max. i would like to get a perpetual grow going. i have 5 strains. i would like to harvest all 5 strains each time. separate veg and flower areas. my veg area is 5x5 my flower area is 5x10. my confusion is how many plants should i have in the flower area (max possible)?. how many clones of each strain and how often should i take the clones ? how many plants actually vegging? They are all 8-9 week strains. how often do i rotate veg to flower and how many plants each time get rotated? remember i literally can not go a plant over 24

Im more of a visual person, so I just take an Excel sheet or calendar and go from there. Start from the harvest and work backward to start. Expect 60-65 days flowering, and build your rotation from there based on the frequency of when you want to harvest, and how many you want to harvest from there. Clones will take like 2 weeks to establish. To start your initial cycle, if youre staggering the flowering, youll need to either start with only a couple, and then start a couple more a week or two later, or flower the first one or two groups shorter than you should have.

1st problem-Feeding . once you dial in a strain, it will feed a little different from each other. So this means some will do a little better then others , or individually mix feed for each plant.
2nd, keeping an even canopy with different strains it can be done but easier with 1 strain.
3rd, finishing, when running perpetual you can’t be cutting 1 then a couple days later another then a week later cut the rest .

To be good at this , flower n veg go to be like clock work, cut , fill, cut, fill cut

I would lose a strain n work with 4
I would get a little veg clone tent to add to the setup. I would have 4 cuts cloning & 4 in the little veg spot of the tent, I’d have 4 in the veg spot u have now . I’d start 4 in 5x5 of your flower space . Then in 4-4.5 week put 4 in the other side . And you can have 4 moms somewhere. 24 plants
If your bad at cloning , and want to get crazy you could have someone who is good at it graft one Mom to another x2 have two Mom but 4 stains then you can clone 6 at a time.

I’d put some real thought into the potential problems with running perpetual, and if you really never want a brake .

I cut every 2 weeks

I'm in for the challenges of a perpetual garden. I have no problem with the extra work( nutes, cuttings, etc...) a little more info I currently have 10 plants in flower(1st week) 3 purple diesel in veg (4 weeks) and 8 clones just transplanted into 2 gallons (2 weeks old all same strain) also 5 of another strain 1 week in solo cups. And 3 different strains I decided I want to carry on rooting ATM. Anyone who can do math can see I'm over count and I have no problem gifting some clones off to a family member to bring it down. What I need to know is how many of each do I need to gift off. I would be okay with losing a strain and only continuimg 4. I'm also okay with harvesting different strains at different times or each different strain each time. What do I need to do to get this cycle going right

5x10 area is covered by 2600 watts 2 1000s with a single 600 in the middle. Veg area is cover by a 315 cmh equivalent of a 600 watt mh plan on adding another and also replacing the 2600 hps with 5 cmh lights

I would work with 4s
Fill 1/2 tent with 4
4 weeks , fill other 1/2 with 4
Have 4 vegging next in line
Have another 4 veg behind them
Have 4 cloning & 4 moms 24 plants .
Cutting every 4weeks .

I was thinking and I'm willing to cut back to only 2 strains my plan is get a mothers keep put 2 mothers in there use it for cloning tent as well. Flower out my current area the way it is for the next 8 weeks. In 4 weeks flip my veg tent to flower, take 5 cuts from mothers of one strain, root 2week, solo cup 2 week in mothers keeper, harvest flower room move plants flowering in veg tent to one half of empty flower room. (Miss one month of harvest but be on track for perpetual) move solo cups into 4 week veg tent until I harvest the half used flower room(that's where I miss the month of harvest) put new veg into flower repeat cycle. Does that sound right and am I missing more then 1 month harvest that way? Please tell me how you would get this mess sorted out?
