Hate bugs too ...

Maybe you can cluster the girls together and lay an open face sticky trap between them , supported by the cup rims , so they can catch the little bastards.

What strain , Indy girls

Or - ( was thinking out loud ) - grab some straight perlite and top dress all cups full.
Keeps the egg laying in check .

I like both ideas for the gnats.
Just now ordered Monterey LG8800 Yellow Sticky Traps (5 pack).

I need to be more aggressive with them, should be less of a problem when they start drying out faster in flower.
I like the idea of a layer of perlite. I have Diatomaceous Earth powder and would like to try Diatomaceous Earth rocks as a top dressing sometime in the future.
Just replaced my oscillating fan that was no longer oscillating. Better air circulation should also help. Getting a better leaf flutter with the new fan that was put in today.
Maybe a one time application with a small dose of hydrogen peroxide added to their water just to make the larvae miserable :).

Strain is bag seed from a pollen chucker, me.
Sativa leaning hybrid will flower for 11+ weeks.
It will show its sativa side in the stretch.
They will likely end up with 4 tops from topping once.
The stretch is my biggest concern or one of many lol.
The fatter the leaves the more I like the plant right now. All 5 are similar. The fatter leaves tend to have more attractive buds for a contest like this. When these seeds sometimes show thinner leaves and more of the sativa traits they tend to be airy and take longer to flower.
If they stay the course they will stretch for about 4 1/2 weeks and start fattening up after week 6 or 7 followed by a combination of clear with some cloudy crystals beginning to show around week 9 or 10.
If things go as planned. Who knows, We will see soon.

Wow!
Just saw a list of players in the other tournament, 20 players just like us.
Of course I'm not sure if either list is accurate.
For instance in the other comp Numberfour last posted Feb 28th and Rusher said I respectfully withdraw from the contest but my info may not be accurate. Maybe it's the mulligan thing.

So they have 20 or maybe 18 today out of 43.
We also have 20 if correct out of 38.

Who has more players IDK, the picture will be clear in a week or two lol. Might as well have fun with it now, won't be any fun teasing them about it in a week or two, I'm not a bully after all.

Here is our player list that also may be inaccurate.

1.. Whitebb2727
2.. 3gt
4.B Dear ole thankful
5.B Nfhiggs
6B. Rollaj

My Orkle is recovering nicely and bushy as hell. A little nute burn but otherwise healthy and has started throwing pistils... now I wished I'd stayed in the comp.. View attachment 4105207 View attachment 4105209
Nice plant ... Nano
Time to tuck some leaf.... LOL

So do you have a smoke report on Orkle ?
Wondering ... I have not heard of Orkle before ( purple urkle ) not that one.

You can even pull out from netting and LST her with safety pins and twine .

Tuck and cut! This is my first run of the Orkle. It's a cross between Purple Urkle and Tahoe OG. I'm super excited to try it. The smells I get off of stem and leaf rubs is insane! She stinks more in veg than my last northern lights run did in flower.. lol.

Oh Well!
I was hoping not to see sex yet but #4 is a girl and she just got topped after the 3rd node. If she is the one, hopefully she gives me 6 tops. I'm not going to try to clone the cutting.
Day 21 from peeking out of the soil.
Wish there was more time, veg was really just starting. Might work out.

Here's my shameful little update. This little lady isn't doing as well as i'd hoped. left it a bit close to the lights and burned a few leaves, so i removed them...and after taking the pic i managed to knock over the whole thing and had to scape it back into its pot.
it's like i'm trying to not win haha

I have to resolder one strip connection. It is a somewhat ghetto rigged fixture and I am not making it permanently assembled since I will be repurposing the strips later. The power supply I am using will go down to 85ish watts with 5 strips, guessing 100ish watts when I get the 6th strip working. With these strips having no heatsink at all, that should be about where I want it -- 500 milliamps.

Game on! Y'all been served.
I love the strip gage.
I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on having the cage slowly rotate back and forth?
Just wondering if there would be any benefits from doing it.
I tried searching for information and could not find anything.
