LOL Potroast knows the truth.

The low information trolls here- and they are many- will make up any story to suit themselves and then push their narrative to extremes.

Almost 20 posts a day since 1/18? You got something to say or what, man? LOL

Peace!

Yeah, I've caught shit for saying 40% of the voting public will never give a shit because they only listen to fox and other right wing outlets.

I'd say 40% is about accurate.
I think the article cites some specific numbers. I don't think 40% is much more than 5 points off, if at all. Despite what they say, Americans believe what they're told much more readily than most.

What I found most interesting was their breakdown of how influential each media outlet was. It seems that Faux Spews is much more effective at getting Democrats to vote Republican than the other channels are at the reverse.

I think that has at least as much to do with how weak the Democratic Party's carefully corporate vetted message is these days as it does with anything else.

@Padawanbater2 @schuylaar would you agree?

The democratic party doesn't act in lock step with any particular media outlet, they don't have the president listening every day and tweeting in concert with them, and they don't have foreign troll armies instantly picking up a meme and promoting it instantly through social media.

Faux doesn't do this by themselves. It's what's been called the whurlitzer since nute launched his contract on america. A loud organ, made up of hundreds of screaming notes (none of which is pleasant by itself), all acting to the same music sheet. It gets so loud that other individual notes/messages can't be heard.

So yeah, the left as a whole isn't as effective as the right. But it isn't because of a weak party. It's because we have principles and don't act in conspiracy to get a false message out.

So we have a situation where one congressman makes a speech or gives an interview that should be heard. But it might get 15 minutes on various networks and then be forgotten. With faux, they will play it twice an hour for days, in concert with every other right wing news outlet and trump.

They coordinate. We don't. That isn't a party weakness.

I respectfully disagree with your assertion that the Democratic Party has principles... At least, other than, 'show me the money!'

exist polling ceased when it was realized (by media and the Clinton Machine) that Sanders was coming out on top..yet they had no qualms about reporting contest results east coast while contest was still going on west coast when Clinton Machine won a state. fact.

then there's this:

What the fuck are you talking about

Cnn was so biased towards hillary and the democrats that people started calling it the clinton news network. Cnn was giving hillary's campaign debate questions in advance so she would be better prepared. Cnn has twisted any news story they can to make trump look bad (like the koy fish pond incident in japan). Fox is the ONLY major media outlet that hasnt jumped in bed with the democratic party.

The link im posting are 10 times media has shown that left bias. If that doesnt convince you, i have a fuck ton more examples i can find for you.

Holy fucking wow. Are people really that delusional?

Fox has always been to the right of center and filled its primetime slots with republican propagandists. I think CNN is now about as far to the left as Fox is to the right. CNN went noticeably left following the Trump election, and seem to be making more confirmation bias errors than in the past. I still love AC and DL, but their shows are more biased than before Trump, approaching MSNBC standards. Still better than watching Hannity or Ingram, so CNN still getting viewed most at my house.
