I concur. I haven't looked at the detailed specs for your light, but you need to raise it up to at least 24" until you can check with your manufacturer, especially if your using it with seedlings. The "hold your hand under the light for 30 seconds" test works if your problem is heat, but that doesn't sound like your concern but rather the burn from *light intensity*. This is NOT the same animal as heat burn, and LEDs in the hands of those unfamiliar with them is a recipe for a toasted canopy. Check the docs from the manufacturer. I would be surprised if they don't give specific recommendations for distance from the canopy at the various stages of the grow cycle.
