A guy I know in CO is in commercial MMJ and he talked about this. I do not know his politics or ask him. He said Trump and Sessions may help keep prices up a bit. He said if Hillary won, legalization would be faster, prices would drop and it would become corporate Big AG pot.
He knows a few pretty big set ups that have failed or are failing because they are run by MBA-types and the quality of their pot is not very good. One place had a contract for a branded line of pot and the brand pulled the license because the pot was so lame.
Big AG pot will be the worst outcome but that may be where we are heading.

I got some plywood and made a big box for people to put their weeds in and then I put it next to the "put your unused pharmaceuticals here" box at the local PD. The next morning it was so full of weeds that people had just started putting bales down in front of it like a poorly maintained Amvets dropoff.You fucking ASSHOLES. WEED IS BAD FOR YOU.

What's really funny about that article is that people neither show up high to buy weed nor do they leave any higher than they showed up.
So likely, having munchies "at the time" probably wasn't the case. It's more likely that people who buy weed are just happy and generous people who would have bought cookies even they were sold outside a courthouse. It's just that you get a higher concentration of happy and generous people outside a dispensary.
