Looking good flowerman, i switched to 12/12 the day after you, so I'm day 34 into flower now. I think things are going good so far as this is my first grow and don't have much experience to compare it to.
Before anyone says it's a jungle and I should have done some defloliation by now, after reading all the differing opinions on that subject, I figured I should make my first grow as simple as possible until I get some more experience, so I have only removed some occasional big fan leaves that were blocking light to some bud sites so far.
So how do you all think things are going for me? Do they look about right for 5 weeks into 12/12? Here are few pics as of today.
They are looking great.

My first run I didn't do much defoliating and everyone warned me that I should. 3 of my 6 plants had to be cut early because of PM. Now I defoliate a bunch and it has very much improved my yield. My suggestion... Take your hygrometer and put it right in the thick of the foliage and leave it there for a bit - then check the RH. When it's a jungle, the RH inside there is really high and obviously a great environment for PM. I'd open up the middle of those plants and the underneath to let the air flow through easy. When defoliating I take out leaves that are blocking light and air flow and leaves that are on top of each other. I do leave on as many of the outer ones as I can. The other advantage to defoliating is that it will save you a whole bunch more work when it comes time to harvest and trim. Just my .2c

So week 6 started today.

I did the last feeding with big budd last night, will start over drive starting next feeding.

So couple of the ladies few pistils are brown and shiveled up, i have looked thoroughly for a hermie but i dont see anything that couldve polinated this tent.

So why could they be turning brown?

Also week 6, and i still dont see any fatt colas forming.
Will do 2 weeks of feeding with over drive,

I usually do feed water feed water,

I plan on taking these to week 9ish,
They were flipped on 11/23,
End of jan is day 69,

So i could use big budd for another week (week6)

And use over drive for week 7+8

And flush week 9,

And see where i am at, by end of week 9 i should be at January 25 .
in some strains the pistils stay white right up until the buds ripen. Other ones start turning orange right out of the gate. In most cases it doesn't mean that it's been pollinated or that it's past it's peak. This is a pic of Outlaw Orange and it's pistils go orange through the whole flowering and it produces great buds.

Ohh okay,

Well i think like i said before, i will continue big budd for one more week, and then hit hard with over drive for 2 weeks,

I just thunk i am week behind everyone, mine at 35 day but look like they are on day 28 from some other growers.

So i will take it all the way up to week 10, before j chop them, so till end of jan,

And just dry smwhere else

Thanks Mike, and thanks for all the good advice. I will try want I'm able to still do this grow, like some selctive pruning to open up some bud sites to receive a little more light.
I'll try some of the other techniques on my next grow and try and get things more dialed in. Thanks again mate!

Looking good flowerman, just a little update from my end. I think we're both on day 40 since 12/12 flip I believe. I also think like they should have bulked up a little more by now, but as a noob on his first grow, I'm not sure? Here's a few pics I took today to show you were I am. Hope all is going good on your end. Cheers mate!

So i am on day 42, week 7,

Used big budd till last feed.

Will use over drive for next week or two.

And then flush,

I checked trichomes and one of the lady have few ambers already!

So should i do 2 weeks with over drive or start flushing?

Or just flush the one with amber trichs?

Or keep the whole tent on same schedule?

Did a big feed with over drive today, 1600 ppm,

Alot of ladies have couple amber trichs, i Think by the time i am getting ready to flush in a week and half, i should deff have 30-40% amber trichs as i am already seeing some

They don't look ready to me... Where are you seeing these Amber trich's? They appear on leaves way before they appear on the buds.

Usually the leaf closest to the budd,

Most of them have a amber trich here and there but these two ladies have the most,

I will be flushing them the next 5- 10 days,

I fed them last week, and will feed them just plain water tomorrow and try to get some runn off, and wait 3-4 days and do the same thing again. And hopefully by then they are ready to come down.

I would say your getting close so a two week period to finish is probably close. Not sure about the flushing though. I just feed lightly till end but the only soil grows I do are outdoors, my hydro grows get fed till the end. I typically pull at the beginning of amber but everyone has their preference ;).

All of them have amber trichs and brown pistils tho?
