Hello RUIers.

First off, thank you for this great resource, things sure have changed over the last 30 years. The last time I was this interested in the magic plant was the late 80's, so basically, old timer here. I've been lurking for the last month, and it is quite a site. So many different areas and industries intersect under the Cannabis umbrella, it's amazing, and it's in it's infancy.

I've especially liked the Supra and DIY builds of LEDs lights, but the genetics and breeding aspect of it is Golden. So, I an planning a little learning journey, with my first area of interest being a light. Then once set up, an attempt at seeing if 30+ year old seeds can still propagate. I doubt they can, but going to try anyway.

It would be soooo cool if you could get something going from those vintage seeds!

My 30 year old seeds wouldn't germinate. But recently I saw on rollitup that there are tricks to try to make old seeds work. I wish I had known and I would have tried because they were really good stuff. I suggest you search the sight and you should find the tricks.

I tried to germ 6 last week and they are a fail...they swelled a bit but no dice. I'll search the site for the tips and try another batch of 6. Good news is my tent arrived!
