Too bushy?

Hey , first dwc and things are going great ! Wondering if my seedlings/ 2 week are stunted in vegetative growth.
OG Kush, Bubblegum, ak 47, sour diesel.
600 watt mh, 600 led and 1000 led. 24 hrs.
5 gal buckets , 4" air stones.
Flora grow nutrients.
My question how do they look? Too bushy, not reaching for the lights , root mass excellent. Should I raise the lights?
Any advice? I think this forum is the best.

Looks good to me

Starting at the bottom, sweep each branch out with your fand to make sure it reaches the canopy.
If there are matchstick thin little branches that will never catch up to them (2" max), cut them out.
Leave what is thick and strong as well as reaches the top. clean out all the bum fluff and tiny leaves around the base and bottoms of the bottom stems.

That plant is ages from being in need of it though. It is from seed so the growth pattern is predictable too.

Thanks for tip. I wanted to wait till they get a little taller to top them. I did soil before, but this is my first hydro. I have more control with dwc than trying to keep dirt right.

You can top them now provided they arent too stressed. I like topping earlier.

Thanks , since these are indica plants they tend to be more bushy. Got these seeds from Amsterdam. Wanted to try different strains, but indica plants are my favorite to grow indoors.

I went from soil to dwc after growing in soil for like a week and had bug issues. Never looked back.

Currently trying coco and it is lagging behind my dwc.

You will enjoy dwc. Your plants look big for their age, the fact they are pure indica and that you are new to dwc.

No such thing as too bushy in veg man. Definitely want to defoliate a bit once they are in flower to prevent rot.
