And here are some early details for you:

The strain is another wonderful Mephisto strain.

The strain is called 3 Bears OG.

You can see the Specifications of the strain here: https://www.cannabis-seeds-store.co.uk/auto-flowering-seeds/mephisto-genetics/auto-3-bears-og-feminised-seeds-artisanal-automatics-/prod_8422.html

"3 Bears OG showcases impeccable qualities of OG in automatic format. The crops are exciting with no loss in quality or speed.
It's a chunky plant with thick colas. Aroma is weak at first but then the plant opens smells of watermelon with hints of powerful lemon.
The plant has sugar leaves with colours from Deep Purple to Black
It also helps against insomnia, and provides great appetite stimulation. You will feel happy and relaxed."
Awesome!.My sour livers have 2or3 weeks to go.

Life is a bit hectic for me at the moment. These were taken a couple of days ago but this is the first chance I have had to post them. Day 77 for SL1 and 71 for SL2. My neighbours were out and it was a rare sunny spell, so I moved them to the garage door for a couple of seconds to try and take some pics in natural light. They looked ok but I took the same pic of a bud on SL2 with and without a flash and it makes the bud look totally different. The flash pic is more representative of how the buds look under the lights.

Both are looking close now to my eye, pistils are brown and retreating, although there are still new whites emerging mainly at the very top of the buds. Calyxes look swollen and trics are mostly milky with the odd few clear and some amber. Both plants have rock hard buds, with SL1 being shorter but wider, SL2 are longer and thinner.

I have a few days free middle of next week, so it would be roughly an extra week of maturing after these were taken. I am tempted to chop both at once as it makes drying in the small cab so much easier. That would take me to over 12 weeks for SL1 and over 11 for SL2. If anyone reckons they need even longer please tell me, I am still relatively new so I am happy to take advice.

SL1 has a noticeable blue / purple tinge to the buds that I really like the looks of. I assume it is a gene from a parent or grandparent.

SL1 pics first - you can see the colour I am on aboutIMG_3349.JPG IMG_3350.JPG

SL2 next - the last 2 shots make the bud look totally different with and without a flash.

Yes i just mixed 1 1/2 tablespoon in 1 gallon of water that's all i used. My plants are in bloom for seedling's i would cut that in half i think they have a feeding chart on the web site.
I gave 2 sour livers a feed yesterday of it & see how it goes. I've been using a 180w led but going to go with a new 300w for the next grow (only do 2at a time).Great hobby mate eh!I think you started growing around the same time as me.

Both my girls had a meeting with my Fiskars last night. SL1 was 83 days old and SL2 was 77

After a rough trimming I ended up with SL1 - 396g wet and SL2 - 389g wet, so a total of 785g wet. I normally work on a dry weight of 15-20% of the wet, that way if it is more I am even happier, so between 120 - 150g dry as an estimate. That will probably kill my previous best for 2x autos of 90g total dry. I knew I was doing well when I had to get a bigger bowl than normal to weigh them in.

Going on a rough street price of £10 per gram (never bought in the UK so guessing from what I have read), I only need to pull 4g to have covered my grow costs. The household led bulb setup I used cost less than £50 to make and will last for years, so I had already covered cost on that as well. I use frosty trim in coconut oil for edibles, so with what I have trimmed this time I will easily be able to make about 60 cookies that get you in a very good place for 3 or 4 hours each.

I am very happy with the way the Sour Livers grew and would certainly grow them again. They may not be coke bottle sized buds, but under 154w of standard household led bulbs in a waist height set of drawers 28"w x 15"d x 32"h I am more than happy with the outcome. My wife doesn't give a shit what they look like as long as they help her MS pain.

A few pics for you all..SL1 first

When's the next comparative jack?
Within the next week budy.

Here you go guys - an update for you all:

Our developers are just finishing off things on the website, and making sure you guys dont have to pay postage when you select the Comparative product.
I have scheduled the Comparative to be launched on Monday, if everything on the website has been tested and is working properly for you guys to get the comparative for free, but with Monday being Monday I think we won't be able to launch until Tuesday.

But don't quote me on that just yet - there is usually some issue that crops up to put us back another day or 2.

But pencil in Monday/Tuesday guys :)

@Jack Vault have the team at Mephisto made any comments to you about this thread? As in the plants grew as expected, better, worse, or they acted in a way they didn't expect etc.
I assume they must get something out of it to keep doing them, but i was just genuinely curious as to their (or your) thoughts on how it went.

No, the guys at Mephisto are busy dudes and don’t get as much of a chance as they'd like to get on the forums (similar to me).

What do they get from it - they get you guys to try out and fall in love with their wonderful strains, and become Mephisto lovers and tell all your friends - it’s great marketing for those guys, so they are more than happy (at the moment) to participate in this :)

That's fair enough, and also very true. I had never grown anything of theirs before but i am now very happy with their seeds and would happily buy them in the future, and would recommend them to anyone who asked.
I have said it before but i will say it again, thank you to both yourself and the Mephisto team for going to the trouble of arranging these comparative grows for us.
