The flush "myth"

So if I feed to the end, I will yield twice as much with a much more complex taste and high.... nice science.. and no that doesn't fucking happen let's see the side by side or any study or any anecdotal practicing that brought these results? It doesn't happen.

I could do you a side by side fed to the end and the other distilled flush and you wouldn't be able to tell me which was which and the yield difference would be no different than running two clones through a grow and one coming out larger yielding than the other.

If you want to continue to feed plants that aren't growing that's fine, but don't make bogus claims about how much better of a practice it is.

I went through some threads last night from other sites. Several people have done blind test.

One guy claimed only one person out of 25 could tell.

Best thing you can do is just do it, and then you know what you like. Theory and books and science are great, but even in my profession we can only model so far, we have to get to the gritty work of practice and then on the fly make adjustments of the things we are not able to model

Buds actually put on a lot of weight the last two weeks -- unless you've been starving the plant. :dunce:

BS dude, your saying plants dont need food for two weeks prior to harvest, they need some salts or biological processes breakdown and cease, just go flush a healthy DWC plant with water and wait two weeks :-)

No one said that.

Cannabis can put on up to 25% of its weight in the last couple weeks.

They also are saying a fuller terpene profile.

Wet trimming locks in chlorophyll whcih then adds a long long time for the cure to get it out if it ever does all the way. You all do want you want but hey my bud got me into high times as Danny Danko gave me props about how it was some of the best he ever smoked so yeah you can do whatever you want but mine will always be potent and top shelf. Put it this way 3 diff growers are using my teas now as they couldn't believe how good top shelf is compared to good. I hope everyone grows better so we all have better around. Dont hate the player hate that they taught you wrong and nobody wants to admit they got taught wrong from the get go. Go organic and get off those nute they sale at 10x what it should cost to grow dank.

Feedings til the end didn't double my yield. Practice did. But a lot of the extra bud happens a lot more if I don't starve them for two weeks.

The buds are growing until they peak and I chop.

but I am not trying to convince you. I just shared my experience. If you feed a scheduled nute regimine I am sure there is enough excess in the soil for a week or two.

In my room you can see the nutrient stress right away.

Can you explain how it gets locked in? It was my understanding that the plant stops producing it when it senses end of life, this causes the green to fade and allows the other pigments to show. By killing the plant before this happens would not allow this to happen I would think. I could be way wrong but I would think letting the plant do this naturally would remove more.

Also my plants will fade no matter what I feed or don't feed outdoors due to climate/temp, I would assume, indoor I get no fade if they are fed. I actually prefer my indoor but that I'm sure is a personal opinion not shared by everyone, just tastes cleaner I guess lol.

I would love to keep this discussion going with out the dick slinging lol. I do find everyone's input rather interesting even if I have yet to see an actual study in this thread of what is actually left in the plant after doing the different ways to finish off, surely it's been done?
