Hello, BLC here from the North West!

I'm 58, happily married and a card carrying cannabis toker. I love playing guitar and singing with my wife.
I am what I consider one of the "lucky" ones. After dealing with PTSD and anxiety, and nearly drinking my self into the ground, for over twenty years, I rediscovered cannabis two and a half years ago. If I may be so bold and boast about being "sober", I would add that it's been that long since my last drink!

To make a long story short, I believe that marijuana literally has saved me from myself. My PTSD and anxiety are in check and today I am happy and normal.... Though that I'm sure would be debated!

I have much to learn and some things that I can teach too! Life is good.

Appreciate it. I have met some of them, indeed.

So, I have been looking for information and posts about drying my buds in the freezer.

....though I have been growing for a couple of years for myself I'm still finding there are things that are tricky to answer. I just harvested one of my Shiskaberry/kish plants and was still not sure if I had waited long enough to take it down?

What really messed me up was having a light on that I didn't know was affecting my flowering plants! I thought they were dark enough! So when I realized they had started looking not quite right, I discovered the problem.

My main problem was not knowing how long they were flowering! So I went by the kief hairs and waited until they looked like most had darkened. Still lower buds were basically finished with a new batch not quite at the top! It was some what confusing. Anyway they are down now! If only all my problems were so wonderful!

So, I hung them in the grow room, being the only place I have, and found I was in the 70s temp wise. After three days I thought they were drying too fast, so I removed most of the stems and put it in a jar in the freezer.

I'm trying to do it correctly this time but still find myself questioning the process....maybe I should just leave it in the jar in the freezer to dry and cure there for a while???

Appreciate any comments
