Nice for sure. i have one on here maybe in journals i havent been on in a few years an decided to get on an look around today i did an 8x8x8 from start to finish. looks great though i cant wait to start another one

As far as implementing solar power, that can be a rather deep rabbit hole, should you choose to go down it. 240v single phase is just two 120v legs, by the way.

If you have buddies in the solar business, you should be good to go, as long as there is some proper engineering experience on hand. Most solar outfits bid on preengineered and designed plans. They win the bid, the specified gear gets ordered and installed, and that's it. Sizing the transformers and inverters, specifying the wire sizes, choosing the proper overcurrent protective devices, and sorting out the grounding and bonding are usually left to the electrical engineers. Fiery death and electrocution lurk around every corner when combining separately derived services. Not trying to scare you away here, but this is something that you have to get 100% right the first time with no error. It's expensive, it's dangerous, and extremely complicated.

Absolutely! Used to work with 24dc systems on Harriers. Error's are a no go. ;)

So a new family member showed up right when i was getting down on the rooms.

Slowed things down a bit.
also, for some reason I didn't get any notifications anyone was looking at this lol.
Scored a few pieces of sealed painted white mdf. they act like dry erase boards as well if that texture description makes sense. Threw them up and will have to grab the rest. Should have a pic soon. Running outta patients with my make shift room/tent's . Time to get back in a fully dedicated room.

Alright getting a little bit done on this rain caused day off.
Wired the 120v banks into house wiring to test. All the circuits and switches are on point.
Ready to install the sub panel and get her wired in. Next Ill finish getting the inside sealed with hardy board, frame in the center wall(might get to this today) and build the sliding door.
Then it's onto getting fans, lights and rails mounted up. Going to hold off on the screen fab untill I get some decent runs in with all this new stock I've acquired or been generously gifted!
Total in this build so far is $142.95. But soon to climb. This hardy board runs around 14 bucks a sheet. But damn I think it's awesome compared to plastic and drywall. Fuck Staples haha

Gotta run Barefoot f2's from seed. (Really excited about these)
Goji and LT's are on deck already. they will get thrown in the tent for this run.
Need to decide on two more. Why does the B man make it so damn difficult. I think buying is easier then picking whats on deck next haha
Got any recommendations?
I have at the moment:
Moontang, Mountain Temp, Cobra lips Strawberry pheno S1's, Chem jb x snow, Prayer tower, or the infamous SSDD.

Think with one of my 600's and some supplement lighting on the veg side railed I can get a decent enough 4x7 footprint to get my mother stock back up. Maybe get lucky and find me a nice Stud as well

@sonson176 Sorry I didn't respond the first time. Sealed will be the end result for one side. This frame is for 2 rooms. Center wall and slider frame/door just are not in yet. Still working on my sliding scrog and door rails design

Haha! I forgot about those tents. They are called Grow labs right? I should probably change that title if I can.
As far as the floor I'm going to drop hardy board down straight onto the concrete. From the temps I have been seeing for a month or two now, it should be great for hydro.

I like the title grow lab seems fitting I was kidding around it does look sturdy though.

Also like concrete floors , they work like air conditioning for the summer. Im in a basement room and enjoy it , I draw cool air off it for the rwdc aeration

Just checked out your build, it's sweet! I smirked when I saw the Jack studs and fire blocking; professional job there, nice! I'm assuming that you are running HPS/MH on your movers. I'm still debating the switch from HPS hybrid to LED exclusive. My quantum sensor data looks good with the LED's, but, as they say, the proof will be in the pudding; I'm waiting to see the results from my latest grow. I mention this because of the solar, and the amps/watts to power the HPS (along with all of the transformations in between -and I'll bet it's the reason for the 240V lines). What are your thoughts and experiences in regards to yields with LED's?
Oh, by the way - what a beautiful space you have there. I have issues... personally, I would let the car get wet and turn the whole garage into a super awesome horticultural paradise - and then just take the beating from the wife. :)

I've always ran res's for everything on poly over carpet. That shit sucked cooler runs non stop. The concrete is ideal I'm stoked on it!
this hardy board is a trip as well, just Mdf sealed and painted white with the texture of a whiteboard. really surprised I haven't seen it around much.

Been following the led movement very closely for years. I'm up to speed but haven't had a grow with a led build yet. So I'm null in void on experience with them.:???: Yeah, I've ran 240v thinking amp hours for Hps lights demands first. Then onto Led builds final draw on the Batts. Gotta over design the grow space. It's never good enough in there,. At this time it seems 750-800 watts is more than capable of taking out a DE @ 1000w. With strip lighting coming back who knows, But I'll be over wired and off grid for it :cool:

As far as I know hardy board is a concrete wood substitute , ive only seen it used for siding as wood substitute

It might be concrete and sawdust mixed ?

That would be hardy backer :p This is pure Mdf or Masonite. I'll snap a pic for a front and back shot in a few.
I was thinking the same thing " WTF?" when I was looking it up.

I've seen you kicking about here for awhile but never checked anything you had going on out I've always peiced less than ideal grow areas together that's about to change soon I'm not as carpenter inclined as you are but I'm getting the general idea wherever you take this you've done a good job I quit doing 4x4 Scrog using a single doorway because it's too hard to reach everything to train any way carry on & hopefully I can learn a thing or 2 also that's some good looking beer! like the pup too I have 2 dogs myself for the most part they're better than people
