Please help me decide 3590 3500k or 3000k

I'm honestly torn at what I should get, been reading thread after thread after thread. Will 3000k make that much difference? The demand for 3000k seems to be a magnitude higher than 3500k, and I'm wondering why. On the other hand it seems like I can dim down the 3500 and possibly veg with them.

I've got a 2.5'x4' chamber... Eight 3590s gives me roughly 1 cob / sq ft. Just started veg under t5's at the moment so this led fixture will be for flowering.

Looking at either rapidled or kingbrite... KB has 3000k... rapidled only has 3500k.

kingbrite 8 3590 3000k CD 80CRI 36V + 2 HLG-320H-C1400B (will drive 4 leds from each driver for now and expand later)

-OR-

costs are not big enough to be a huge factor... wouldn't mind tossing the US based place the business tho.

You need to check that the total voltage of all your cobs put together fit within the voltage range of the driver you wil be using. If they do then you are fine.

CXB3590s run at 1400mA are tried and tested so all good there.

yup: 229V max output / 36V = 6.3 drivers
1.4x36= ~302W

Angelina reflectors... but I've found in a tent that removing the reflectors gives better overall coverage... so they are expendable..
You the man dan.. big help, I'd 'like' your posts if I was allowed to. .. lol
Using R6 foam board in my build... reflective side in. May have to get some mylar to really reflect everything back into the canopy.

For more driver effiecence
take a HLG-185H-C1400B
for a 4-COB-Line
hmm just looked... $200 for two 320 drivers for 12 cobs... $100 for two drivers for 8 cobs.

Maybe I will go with the 185-C1400B... and just get 2 more drivers when I eventually add.

143V/36V = 3.97.. Looks like it's cutting it awfully close to the forward voltage needed...

Have you priced the hlg 240 @1400 with 5 cobs per light?
320 6 cobs = $100/6 = $15.83 to light 1 cob (free ship)
240 5 cobs = $63+$9 s&h/5 = $14.40 to light 1 cob
185 4 cobs = $50+$9 s&h/4 = $14.75 to light 1 cob
(not accounting for shipping cost)

mostly a wash between the 240 and 185.

Is a step up from 8 cobs to 10 cobs going to make that much difference in a 32"x52" footprint?

At what point do I kill the plants lol

That is my exact footprint. You really only need 6 cobs at 1400mA in that space.. it's like 938 ppfd, which is a lot of light..
6 cobs on a 320c will do the job just fine..

just bought 2 185s...

i can go and back and forth forever.. cripes once it took me a year to decide which TV to buy. hah
