What is your nutrient formula?
I'm using 3 part jungle juice by advanced.
and advanced cal-mag extra 4-0-0
I started off with a nitrogen toxicity I believe..
then ended up only using distilled water got cal mag def ,
then started ph fluxing by week 4 and roots were skinny and light-medium brown up top but thick and white new root growth not super small just okay size.
I've been adding peroxide since last week and that's been keeping them clean also using frozen bottles to keep temps down.

I added fresh ro and did low dosage of nutes via Lucas formula and phd to 6.0 a few days ago shes looking better today at least the leafs have stopped getting worse than they have been.
I'm using drops ph test so PH numbers arent precise but new PH and PPM+EC meter come in today with new call mag 2-0-0 and hydro guard.

when everything comes in I'll add 4 gallons of distilled water go by Lucas formula 8mlmicro 16 ml bloom a light feeding and then ph it precisely to 5.8.

should I add cal mag first or micro first ?

thats fine, distilled messes with your cation exchange because it has no buffers
So then what about anions, does distilled affect those too?
Not to be shitty or anything but you forgot to explain why? Ive NEVER heard of any distilled or rodi h20 affecting positve or negative charged ions in a nutrient solution. Please explain.

I don'y have a play by play explanation for you, what I do have is lots of experience and If you want to know how it messes up grows, just try using it.

well, i googled it for you guys and found this

Nutrient Deficiency
If you're growing hydroponically, you might run into a calcium or magnesium deficiency if you use distilled water. Because the primary culprits of hard water are calcium and magnesium, going with distilled means you remove them completely.

But plants need a little bit of each to thrive, and a lot of hydroponic nutrients don't have enough.

Recommendation: Use a supplement like Cal-Mag to make sure you don't run into these deficiencies.
