Any body actually ran the Lunas or Apollo?

Looking at mixing in with my cxb3590s for extra wattage and spectrum mixing. Just don't remember seeing any actual usage reports/reviews.

Thanks

Look in my sig. The Apollo is their old gen COB. Most of my grow is with the Lunas, but they aren't as efficient as the new CLU058s, but they are a great COB to work with. I truly don't see the need for different color temps, just be between 4000k and 2700k and you will be happy.

Just read through. Thank you sir. If mixing with 10 cxb3590 36v 3500k what cct would you lean towards for the Lunas? I'm thinking either the 300 or 200 Luna.

I guess that would depend on what you prefer to grow and your situation. If you have less head room, you could go with a cooler temp to control the first two weeks of stretch. If you are running strains that get to crowded like the Green Crack I just ran, a 2700k might help the plant stretch out better the first 2 weeks. It really depends on your situation, but you will also be trying to match distance with 2 different intensities and that will add more complications to your grow area. If you need more light it might be better to have more of a side by side. Intensity vs uniformity.

I just got 2 Starlite 320w complete fixtures with Luna chips. Went with 5000k so they will veg strong short plants then I will boost with supplemental reds, etc for flowering.

Been running them for a month so far and I really like em.
