Not sure what you mean by not essential. But... probably true.
However, extremely convenient if you want to keep dozens and dozens of strains on the go without having a mother room.

Id like a kit. Pretty sure all clone only og growers would love to take cuts off a TC mother plant.

Ya. From what i understand just a small piece of leaf is put in a solution in a covered petri dish and it grows... in the right considtions... roots in the solution and then you can plant and start a mother for clones. The advantage being that you can keep dozens of these on the go virtually forever. All kinds of genetics kept in a couple square feet.
Brilliant. If the kits actually work... which is what im trying to find out... and how well...

And i guess the process really cleans the strain up or what ever that means. Cuz everything is so sterile or something. Its been a while since I've heard tissue culture. Id love to do it though.

The sterility part is the one that could be problematic ...maybe? The procedure has to be 100% sterile or it fails and i wonder how hard that is to achieve without a lab??? Is that maybe why we havent heard more about this?
Thats part of the feedback i would like to hear about. If there's peeps using these kits at home with success...
Think i might drop the coin and give it a shot. Just dont know which kit/system is the most reliable...

It a useless committee...if u knew how ptc's worked ud know thats a pointless money dump...if u didnt take a viable clone when it was ready or think its too late u need more experience n less money to burn
